The sky was cloudless and blue, and the sun’s heat was almost unbearable. There was the sound of children happily playing sports, talking, or running around trying not to be tagged. However, one girl, named Lavender, sat in the corner, reading her fantasy novels. Her long curly blond hair fell over her face like a veil, and she almost never spoke, though when she did she was kind. Suddenly, Lavender was pulled into her story. She stood in a forest, and there was a door. She stepped closer, cautiously. She put one foot inside and something grabbed her leg. She wanted to scream. Then the bell went.
